So, I’ve heard a lot of moms complain that their kids hate eating vegetables. Do you have a similar story? What is it with kids and not eating healthy vegetables? I will never know. For that matter adults and eating healthy vegetables too!
But, I digress.
So, do you have a fussy kid, who doesn’t like veggies at all? Are you constantly worried that your kid is not getting enough iron, protein or fat that’s required for their development. Are they not getting the nutrition they need for their growth and development? More importantly, would they rather eat a plain roti or rice and not touch their vegetables or lentils at all?
Believe me, you are not alone. Which is why we, as parents, need to become innovative. It’s not very difficult to feed a toddler healthy nutritious food, as long as they don’t know that they are eating healthy, nutritious food.
Let me help you here with a nutritious, delicious Roti recipe that will take care of most of your kids daily nutritional requirements.
Roti is a spherical flatbread originating in the Indian subcontinent that is produced from mixing whole wheat flour and water. This recipe adds Spinach and Cottage Cheese to the mix thus creating a tastier and healthier version.
